01How It Started

I got my start in the garage door industry at 21, working for a company in Los Angeles. For about two years I learned the trade hands-on — from diagnosing problems and repairing doors to understanding what good service should actually look like.

02Building Something of My Own

I moved my work to Orange County, where I was living in Huntington Beach, and started building my own garage door business from the ground up. There was no big company behind me — just hands-on experience, hard work, and a commitment to treating customers the right way.

Over the years, the business grew one customer at a time. Many homeowners I worked with years ago still call us when they need garage door service today. That repeat trust is one of the things I value most about what we’ve built.

03The Standard Today

The biggest lesson I’ve learned is that this business is about more than fixing garage doors. It’s about trust.

When someone calls us, they’re inviting a technician to their home or business and trusting us to explain honestly what needs to be repaired — and what doesn’t.

That’s the standard I teach our technicians: show up professionally, explain the problem clearly, price the work honestly, respect the customer’s property, do the job correctly, and never recommend work simply because it can be sold.
